Beirut, 1975. A group of teenagers come of age as the Lebanese civil war erupts around them. Initially the, the conflict is welcomed for the two young men, Tarek and Omar. They live in West Beirut, their school is located in the east making it physically impossible for them to attend classes. The start of the civil war serves as an immersive background for their rebellious explorations. Distant divisions suddenly appear much too close for comfort, the film captures how war reshapes identity. Not through sudden trauma, but through gradual normalization of chaos and irreversible consequences.
